About the Event
On October 27th, 39 cadets from 2573 RCACC attended Exercise Sapper Bushman. The cadets travelled to Squamish where the Army Cadet League of Canada has land that they have designated for use by cadet corps and squadrons from around the Lower Mainland for field training. 39 Combat Engineer Regiment provided vehicles and soldiers to support the exercise and teach the cadets how to use tools safely. The cadets put up signs informing the public of the training area perimeter, erected a gate across the main exercise entrance, and cleared fallen trees and brush out of the bivouac areas. These improvements to the site will allow fellow cadet groups to better use the training site for future activities.
